Layout & Display

The Layout tab controls how the agenda looks: which columns the table of contents shows, whether it appears as a table or a list, what the slide titles read and which accent colour is used. The structural details (duration, numbering, sections) live on the Configuration tab.

Visible columns

The check boxes decide which extra columns the table of contents shows:

Option Shows
Owners The person/role stored per item.
Duration The duration in minutes.
Timeslot The calculated time slot (e.g. 09:15–09:30).
Custom column A freely named extra column. Enter the column name (e.g. "Goal") under Custom column name.
Sub-item count How many sub-items a main item has.

The number column and the title are always visible.

Table of contents: table or list

Style Description
Table Columns No · Topic · Time · Duration … — structured, for agendas with a schedule.
List Classic, one text line per item — lean, for simple agendas.

Splitting across slides (multi-ToC)

If the agenda does not fit on one slide, PPPTools distributes the table of contents automatically:

Mode Behaviour
One ToC All items on one slide.
Split by count per slide A fixed number of items per slide — enter it under Items per ToC slide.
Split by height (automatic) PPPTools breaks as soon as the slide is full.

Slide titles

Field Meaning
ToC main title Heading of the table-of-contents slide (e.g. "Agenda").
Divider subtitle Subtitle on the divider slides.

Both fields accept header placeholders such as [[TITLE]], [[PRESENTER]] or [[DATE]] — they are replaced on generation by the values from the Presentation tab.

Accent colour

Under Colour (theme) you pick one of the theme accent colours Accent 1 – Accent 6 of your PowerPoint theme. It colours highlighted elements of the table of contents and the dividers. Because these are theme colours, the agenda adapts automatically when you switch the design.

Save the look as a template

Once columns, titles and colour are set, you can save the entire look as a format template and apply it to any new agenda with a single click.
