Hyperlinks & navigation
The Agenda Master can make your presentation clickable: jump straight from the table of contents to the matching section, and get back to the agenda from any content slide with a single click. You control both in the Configuration tab → "Hyperlinks" group.
Pro-Funktion
The Agenda Master is a Pro feature. Hyperlinks are not available in the free version.
Prerequisite: divider slides
Both jump types require that divider slides are created — they are the targets and origins of the links. If divider creation is turned off on the Layout tab, the hyperlink settings have no effect.
The "Hyperlinks active" master switch
The check box "Hyperlinks active" (default: OFF) is the shared master switch for both hyperlink types. While it is off, no jump or return links are set at all — regardless of which columns or fields you choose below.
One switch for both
"Hyperlinks active" turns the ToC linking and the return link on or off together. Only when it is on do the dropdowns below take effect.
ToC row links to agenda slide
The dropdown "ToC row links to agenda slide" sets which column in the table of contents becomes clickable. A click on that column jumps to the item's associated divider slide.
The dropdown is dynamic: it shows only the columns currently active on the Layout tab — for example the narrow "…" extra column, the whole row, No., Topic, Time, Duration, Owner, a custom column, or "none". If you change your column selection in the layout, the entries available here change too.
- In the running presentation a single click on the column is enough.
- In editing mode hold Ctrl and click (Ctrl+click).
When you hover over the link in PowerPoint, a ScreenTip shows the jump target.
Return link on every slide
The dropdown "Return link on every slide" places a hyperlink back to the agenda on a placeholder of every content slide (that is, the slides between the divider slides). Possible values:
- No return link
- Title
- Subtitle
- Footer
- Date
- Slide number
The chosen placeholder becomes the return anchor. If it is missing on a slide, that slide is simply skipped — the rest stays linked.
Choose the placeholder wisely
Pick a placeholder that exists on as many slides as possible — such as the slide number or footer. That way every content slide reliably gets its return link.
Return link points to
The dropdown "Return link points to" sets the return target:
- …to the associated divider slide (default)
- …to the table of contents
This field is only active and relevant when a return placeholder is selected above — with "No return link" it plays no role.
The "associated divider slide" is determined by slide position: a content slide belongs to the divider slide that precedes it.
Updating after changes
If you move slides or change the order, bring the hyperlinks back in line with ⟳ Refresh — the links then follow the new slide order without you having to rebuild the agenda. Details under Refresh & Import.
