Colour palettes

Created: 2026-07-23 · Updated: 2026-07-23

These colour palettes are shared: the same selection is available in the word cloud generator, the puzzle and the colour swatch tool. This page is the common reference — the tools link here.

How the tools use the palettes

  • Word cloud: each word one colour, derived from its position in the cloud.
  • Puzzle: each piece one colour, moving along the chosen gradient direction across the pieces.
  • Colour swatch: click a colour square to recolour selected objects, or drop the palette onto the slide as swatches.

Monochrome palettes are assigned by rank

Blau einfarbig, Weinrot and Graustufen hold one colour in brightness steps. In the word cloud they are assigned by rank — the darkest step to the largest word. Colourful palettes cycle round or follow the gradient direction.

For dark slides

The palettes marked (dunkle Folien) as well as Neon contain light tones (some white) and are only legible on a dark background.

From the active slide design

Three entries are not a fixed colour list but derive from the active design (in the puzzle via its own "Theme colours" mode, in the swatch tool via "Design accent colours"):

Entry Effect
Template colours (active design) The design's accent colours 1–6, in order
Template accent monochrome The first accent colour in six brightness steps (by rank)
Accent colour + grey The strongest elements in the accent colour, the rest in greys

Gradients

Each element stays one colour; the colour derives from its position (word cloud) or the gradient direction (puzzle).
