Administration: Access & PIN
This page sets up the admin area: the shared network path holding the public library, and the PIN that protects admin mode.
Accessing
PPPTools ribbon → "About" group → Settings → Administration → Access & PIN
Admin mode only
The administration group only appears while admin mode is active. With no network path configured yet, the page reports No network path (public share) configured and offers Set up network path.
Public network path
The shared network path for public Snippets, Slides and Storylines.

Before moving you are asked to confirm where from and where to.
Careful
Move relocates every file from the old folder to the new one: Snippets, Slides, Storylines, submitted contributions and the configuration. The target path has to be reachable and writable.
Admin PIN
The PIN protects admin mode. It is stored in the share as a SHA-256 hash — the plain PIN is kept nowhere.
- Enter the current PIN
- Enter the new PIN (at least 4 characters)
- Confirm PIN — the same PIN once more
- Save PIN
First PIN
If no PIN has been set yet, the current PIN field is omitted. The first PIN you save here protects admin mode for everyone using this network path.
If something does not add up, the page says so directly: Current PIN is wrong, New PIN must be at least 4 characters or PINs do not match.
