About & Version
This page shows which build of PPPTools is running on this machine, whether a newer one exists, and what changed in the recent releases.
Accessing
PPPTools ribbon → "About" group → Settings → PPPTools → About & Version
The About button on the ribbon opens Settings directly on this page.
Installed
The build of the add-in currently running is shown at the top.
Current versions
Below it PPPTools lists every component with the version currently on the server: add-in, help, library. Where a newer version is available, ⚠ Update appears next to it. Go to download page takes you to the installer.
Offline
If the server cannot be reached the page says Server unreachable. — the add-in itself keeps working unchanged. Try again then appears below it: one click fetches the content again right away, without closing Settings. The button only shows in this case — once the server has answered there is nothing to catch up on.
Changes
The change log lists, per release, what is new, what was fixed and what changed. Every line carries its kind as a short tag:

Two filters
The log has grown long, so it can be narrowed twice over:
- Version — the drop-down shows either All versions or exactly one release.
- Show: — the row of buttons below picks the kinds. The number on a button counts how many lines of that kind the selected version contains.
Every button looks the same: grey means off, orange means on — what is orange is what you see.
- On opening, All is orange and nothing else. The log stands there in full.
- Clicking NEW, CHG or any other kind turns that button orange and All grey. From then on only what is orange is listed — several kinds can be combined.
- A second click on the same button removes that kind again. With no kind left selected, it falls back to All on its own.
- Clicking All clears the individual choice: All turns orange, every other button grey.
The two filters apply in sequence. If nothing is left of a release, it disappears together with its heading. If nothing at all is left, the page says No changes of the selected kind.
Other
Older entries without a kind end up under Other. If only a single kind is present, the button row is not shown at all.
The language of the log
The change log follows the add-in language set: anyone using PPPTools in English reads the changes in English. The texts come from the server rather than from the add-in — a translation supplied later therefore appears without a new build having to be installed.
English is the leading language. Where a translation into the language chosen is missing, the English version stands there in place of an empty line.
The tags NEW, FIX, CHG and LNG are deliberately not translated — they are the same in every language, so that a line stays recognisable across language boundaries.
