PPPTools — Overview

PPPTools is a PowerPoint add-in (VSTO) for professional presentation work. It extends PowerPoint with five functional areas, accessible directly from the Ribbon and the Task Pane.

Functional Areas

Tools — Arrange Objects Precisely

Reference First Align Left Distribute Stretch Rotate Order

All align, resize, and distribute operations work relative to a freely selectable reference object — the first/last selected shape, the slide edge, the defined workarea, or a pinned shape.

Function Description
Reference Objects Define the reference point for all tools
Align Flush, to each other, to master, 9-point positioning
Resize Resize, stretch, fill gap
Distribute Distribute evenly, within workarea/slide, size distribution
Make Same Equalize corner radius, arrow properties, process shapes
Rotate & Flip 90° steps, reset, flip horizontal/vertical
Order Z-order, swap shapes, sort by size

Utilities — Label, Mark, Annotate, Translate

Numbering Watermark PostIt ToDo

Function Description
Numbering Automatic numbering in 4 formats, 6 shapes, 6 colors
Watermarks 6 classification levels, single slide or all slides
PostIts ToDo and classic sticky notes at the click of a button
Translate Slides Translate slides DE↔EN via DeepL, insert language flags

Venn Diagrams — Create and Save in PowerPoint

Venn Diagram

Create, format, and save Venn diagrams with 2 or 3 circles directly in the PPPTools Task Pane, and store them as templates in the presentation.

Formatting Color, transparency, border per intersection area

Shapes & Content — Insert Ready-Made Shapes

Ready-made shapes can be inserted directly onto the slide from the PPPTools Task Pane:

PPPTools Content Manager — Save and Share Content

Slide Icon

The Content Manager in the PPPTools Task Pane is the central library for reusable PowerPoint content — private or shared via a common public library.

Quick Start Save your first piece of content in 3 steps
Edit Slide Open and update a saved slide in PowerPoint

Master Settings — Configure Workarea and Behavior

Function Description
Workarea Define the content area of the slide (excluding header/footer)
Stretch & Fill Gap Configure spacing for stretch and fill gap operations
