Gear Wheels

Inserts gear wheel shapes onto the active slide. Gear wheels are inserted as PowerPoint shapes (not images) and can be scaled, colored, and animated freely.

Accessing

PPPTools → Open Task Pane → Shapes & Content → Gear Wheels

Available Variants

Icon Variant Description
Gear 8 8 Teeth More compact gear, looks more technical
Gear 12 12 Teeth Larger gear with more teeth, looks more mechanical

Inserting

  1. Select the variant in the Task Pane
  2. Click Insert
  3. The gear wheel appears as a PowerPoint shape on the slide

Since gear wheels are inserted as native PowerPoint shapes, they can be: - Scaled freely without quality loss - Formatted with standard fill color, border color, and effects - Animated (e.g. rotation)
