Public Online Library
The public online library extends your local snippet collection with shared content. In online mode, snippets, slides, and storylines are loaded directly from the library server and can be inserted with a single click.
Activating Online Mode
Click the 🌐 button in the ribbon (Content Manager group) to activate online mode. A teal banner at the top of the task pane indicates that online mode is active.
To switch back to the local library: click 🌐 again.
Requirement
An active internet connection is required. The library server is available at https://ppptools.library.happy-pc.ch.
Online Gallery
In online mode, all galleries (Snippets, Slides, Storylines) are populated with content from the public library:

Snippets, slides and storylines are available in the online library and can be inserted directly.
Inserting Snippets
- Activate online mode (🌐)
- Open the Snippets gallery tab
- Select a snippet
- For parameterized snippets: fill in the @param dialog
- Snippet is inserted on the active slide
Trust Dialog
When running a snippet from the public library for the first time, a trust dialog appears:
- The name, description, and author of the snippet are shown
- Confirm with Trust to proceed
- The snippet is checked by the code scanner before execution

Snippet Types
Online snippets also come in three types, which are handled correctly on insertion:

Inserting Slides & Storylines
- Slides: In online mode, open the Slides gallery tab and click a card — the slide is inserted into the active presentation while preserving its design.
- Storylines: Open the Storylines gallery tab and click a card — all contained slides are inserted in order and a PowerPoint section with the storyline name is created. Online storylines are loaded as a self-contained package, so no local slides need to be present.
Tier System
The library distinguishes three content tiers:

In the current phase, all library content is available free of charge (Free); the higher tiers are activated with the license model.
