Public Online Library

The public online library extends your local snippet collection with shared content. In online mode, snippets, slides, and storylines are loaded directly from the library server and can be inserted with a single click.

Activating Online Mode

Click the 🌐 button in the ribbon (Content Manager group) to activate online mode. A teal banner at the top of the task pane indicates that online mode is active.

To switch back to the local library: click 🌐 again.

Online Gallery

In online mode, all galleries (Snippets, Slides, Storylines) are populated with content from the public library:

Inserting Snippets

1. Activate online mode (🌐)
2. Open the Snippets gallery tab
3. Select a snippet
4. For parameterized snippets: fill in the @param dialog
5. Snippet is inserted on the active slide

Trust Dialog

When running a snippet from the public library for the first time, a trust dialog appears:

• The name, description, and author of the snippet are shown
• Confirm with Trust to proceed
• The snippet is checked by the code scanner before execution

Tier System

The library distinguishes between different content tiers:

In the current phase, all library content is available free of charge.

Submitting Your Own Snippets

You can contribute your own snippets to the public library:

1. Develop and test your snippet in the Advanced Snippet Editor
2. Click 💾 Save ▾ → Upload as Draft
3. Enter metadata (Name, Category, Description, Tags)
4. An admin reviews and publishes the snippet after approval
