Content Manager — Quick Start

From an empty PowerPoint file to reusable content in three steps.


Step 1 — Select and Save a Shape

  1. Open a PowerPoint presentation
  2. Select a shape, a group, or multiple objects
  3. Click PPPTools → Save Snippet in the Ribbon
  4. Enter a name, category, and additional metadata, then confirm

The content is now saved in your private library.

Tip

You can also save an entire slide: PPPTools → Save Slide.


  1. Open the PPPTools Task Pane via the Ribbon
  2. Switch to the Snippets tab in the Content Manager
  3. Your saved content appears in the gallery
  4. Click on a card to insert the content into the active presentation

Step 3 — Share Content with Everyone (Optional)

If the content should be available to other users in the shared public library:

  1. Switch to Manage and open the saved content
  2. Fill in all required fields
  3. Click ↑ Publish
  4. The administrator reviews and approves the content — it then appears for all users
