General
Two things live on this page: which language PPPTools speaks to you in — and whether anonymous usage data may be collected.
Accessing
PPPTools ribbon → "About" group → Settings → PPPTools → General
Language
Add-in language
Sets the language of the ribbon, the task panes and all messages.

When the change takes effect
The ribbon switches immediately. Drop-down lists and task panes follow after a restart of PowerPoint.
Language of generated content
Applies to text a tool writes onto the slide: default titles, sample text, captions. Slides already generated stay as they are.
Same as the interface takes over the setting above.
For the current presentation
Below that, the same choice can be made for one presentation only. It is stored in the presentation itself, so it travels with the file and overrides the setting above. A presentation has to be open for this.

Telemetry
Collect usage data helps us improve PPPTools. What is collected: the function used, the licence tier and the app version. No personal content and no file content.
Set by the administrator
If an administrator has set a policy on the Team Defaults page, the checkbox is locked and shows how it was decided.
