Venn Diagrams — Templates

Fully configured Venn diagram settings can be saved as a template and reused at any time. Templates are saved in the presentation.

Saving a Template

  1. Configure the diagram type, parameters, formatting, and texts as desired
  2. Enter a name in the Template Name field
  3. Click Save Template

The template is immediately available in the Template dropdown.

Loading a Template

  1. Select the desired template from the Template dropdown
  2. All settings (type, parameters, colors, texts) are loaded automatically
  3. Adjust as needed
  4. Click Create

Storage Notes

Templates are saved as Custom XML in the active PowerPoint presentation. This means:

  • Templates are tied to the respective presentation
  • When the PPTX file is shared, the templates are included
  • Templates can be distributed to the whole team via a base presentation (template)

Team Templates

Save standard templates in a master presentation (e.g. PPPTools_Templates.pptx) and distribute it to the team. Everyone can then copy the templates into their own presentations via copy-paste, or work directly from the template.
